Once you get to Ireland, limit your use of your ready cash as much as possible to small purchases. Be prepared to pay surcharges in some stores when you use your credit card, though. If you did find that you need to use your cash and you need to get more, go to the nearest hole in the wall - that is, the Irish term for an automated teller machine - and withdraw some cash.
