One of the nicest and picturesque routes to do when you travel to Ireland is the Coasway Coastal Route which starts at Belfast and ends at Londonderry, in approximately five days of travel of almost ninety miles. But before embarking on this travel of Ireland, you may want to check out Belfast's fine restaurants and Victorian pubs. It is also in Belfast that you can get to see the stained glass picture at Saint Anne's Cathedral at the Cathedral Quarter.

First stop after leaving Belfast via the Causeway Coastal Route is at the Loughshore Park in Newtonabbey. It is here in this area where the Titanic first sailed on its fateful trip to America from the shipyards of Harland and Wolff. Along the way, spectacular views of the Belfast Lough are seen with ships sailing from Belfast. After several miles of travel, you will reach a twelve century Norman Castle at the seaside town of Carrickfergus. This town in Ireland boasts of a modern marina or their newly built museum. You can also visit the Saint Nicolas Parish Church. Traveling on, you will see Kilroot, the place where Jonathan Swift worked as a minister, then to Larne, the doorway to the glens of Antrim, until you reach Portmuck Harbor around Islandmagee. Gobbins Cliffs is a sight to see which houses several varieties of seabirds. On the way to the glens of Antrim, you can pass by Gleno to see the four waterfalls and Carnlough, to view their harbor and true Irish houses and pubs. Moving along your travel of Ireland will lead you to the foot of each of the glens namely: Glenarm, Glencloy, Glenariff, Glenballyeamon, Glenann, Glencorp, Glendun, Glenshesk, and Glentaisie. At the foot of Glenarm lies their little village with their castle and forest. This place is known for their traditional folk sessions. You can opt to spend the night here or continue on your travel of Ireland to Cushendall. Although their renowned four-storey Curfew Tower is built in red sandstone to detain idlers and rioters, it is surrounded by nice-looking buildings and hospitable watering- holes.

Next stop in this travel of Ireland is viewing Torr Head and Murlough Bay, via Cushendun, which shows off their quaint cottages. After this, you can take a ferry to see Rathlin Island, known for its rugged scenery and views which attracts birdwatchers, scientists and botanists all over the world. Divers also travel to Ireland to see this island since there are several ship wrecks located underwater. Travel west next on the Causeway Coast to arrive at the Carrick-a-Rede Bridge, made out of rope to cross a twenty four meter gulf. You can end the day at Bushmills, which is renowned all over the world for its oldest licensed distillery of whiskey.

Image
Travel the next day to the Giant's Causeway, which holds many Irish legends and yarns about buried treasure. The following stop is at the Dunluce Castle ruins then towards Ballymoney and Coleraine for a bit of shopping. Mussenden Temple follows next at Castlerock then to Downhill, Benone or Magilligan Beach to go for a short walk, which is usually refreshing. Traveling further will lead you to Limavady, a busy market town where you can purchase supplies and souvenirs then towards Londonderry for the night.

Explore Londonderry on your last night, a perfect place to finish your travel of Ireland since this is the only city in the British Isles that is walled completely ever since the seventeenth century.

Nice post, thanks you. I'm a diabetic with poor circulation and so my toes almost never warm up.. I ordered these cheap ugg boots hoping they would help and they did the job pretty well. The inside is very plush, my feet even feel close to sweating when the air con is up and the house is warm. The upper is a little tight, I wouldn't recommend these cheap ugg boots for larger people.ugg boots on sale, free shipping, LOL!
